The Life of Abraham, Genesis 19–25

Location: Smith Hall
Teachers: Pastor Ian and Matt Sargeant
Category: Biblical Studies

Description: Continuing in Genesis with the life of Abraham (Genesis 19-25). Why did God make a covenant with Abraham? How is the way of covenant God’s solution to fallen humanity, and what does that mean for us today? Join us to explore how God’s promised-shaped command sends Abraham and his family into an exodus-shaped journey of faith and blessing enjoyed today by all who call upon Christ for salvation.

Adult Class

Connecting with Others like Jesus Did | Essentials for Christian Living

Location: Classroom 4
Teacher:  Shelly Marchionda
Category: Practical Studies

Description:
Connecting with Others like Jesus Did
Two markers of growing disciples are the disciplines of sharing Christ and building relationships. How we relate to those around us is an essential element in sharing Christ and discipling others.
Essentials for Christian Living
The Christian life is not lived in isolation from other believers. We are called to do life together. God is glorified when believers serve one another and work together.

Adult Class

Forgiveness: Making Peace with the Past

Location: Classroom 6
Teachers: Sandy West
Category: Practical Studies

Description:
Christians rejoice in the forgiveness we receive from God, but the rub comes from other people. When we hurt the people we love, how do we go about restoring the relationship? When we suffer the pain of betrayal or injury or rejection from someone else, how do we deal with the anger and resentment we feel? This study will help us find answers.
