M&Ms is a group of women of all ages who focus on doing both ministry and mission projects together. For example, they annually provide Easter baskets for the children of Family Promise, they have collected clothes and furniture for some refugees in our area, as well as providing care for members of the church family.
This men’s group meets monthly at CCBC on Thursdays at 6:30pm. (Except for the Summer months.) If you are a man that would like to have faith building conversations with other men like you, you’ve found the right place.
We are proud to have a men’s softball team that can take on The Chapel. Games are held on Thursdays through the summer.
Word on Wednesday is an in-depth weekly adult bible study with a brown bag lunch to follow. Meets at 11am in Smith Hall except for the summer months.
Here at CCBC we have a permanent donation box to collect food for the St. Luke Lutheran Food Pantry located in our foyer. Many food items are needed, but the biggest needs are cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, and veggies, pasta and pasta sauce, cake mix and frosting, and canned fruits.
Our yearly community Harvest festival is a favorite time of the year and an event that we get very excited about. We hold a festival with carnival games and candy prizes for the community to come and enjoy completely for free. We have free popcorn, donuts, cider, bounce house, face painting, baby pumpkin for every child, games and candy. The 2026 Harvest festival will be October 3rd from 1-4pm.
