The STORYland Children’s Ministry at Cheektowaga Baptist Church is committed to telling the story of Jesus to our children in such a way that he will become a living part of the story of their lives.

The STORYland Children’s Ministry exists to:

Share Christ with the children of our community,
Team them with other Christians,
Offer them ways to grow in Christ, helping them
Recognize their spiritual gifts, and to
Yield their lives to God

Children’s Sunday school meets every Sunday at 9:45am on the upper level of the church.

Here is what a typical Sunday looks like:

Nursery
We care for the needs of babies from newborn to 2.5 years old, to include feeding, story time, diaper changing, and playing! Pagers are provided to parents in case we need you.

Preschool
Children ages 3-5. We teach the children to “Know about” Jesus through stories, music, crafts, lesson and video.

1st – 2nd Grade Sunday School
Children gather to learn God’s basic truths through a creatively presented Bible lesson. Leaders guide them through a Bible based curriculum which teaches them to know about Jesus. Music, Crafts, and DVD’s are used.

3rd – 5th Grade Sunday School
Children use a Bible based curriculum to Know Jesus personally, learn Bible truths, and understand the Bible’s organization.

Worship Service: 11:00am

Grades 1-5 join us in the sanctuary during the worship time. Before the sermon starts, children exit the sanctuary and go downstairs to classroom 8 for Junior Church.
